This About Gretel mechanic repack has potential. It would be great if they could solve some of the kinks. First, there is no guidance. For some reason now it concerns games. You get into it, and developers should expect you to know everything or be able to figure it out. Most people don't want to mess around for 20 minutes trying to understand the basic controls and interactions in a game. Especially in crafting. The crafting menu is pretty basic though, so they get a point for it. It is also easy to obtain materials by picking bushes with sticks or chopping down trees with an ax. Nor do your tools deplete at an alarming rate. I love the main character. She is cute. When she jumps, I see her through her skirt.

Overall, About Gretel needs some work. I am sure that if they listen to the feedback from the players and keep working on it, one day this game will be playable. I am disappointed that I wasted money on something that was not ready. I'll come back and update my review after I try playing some more. I love open world survival craft games and I know many other people do too. It would be a shame not to fix these problems.
