Description:
Per Aspera for PC, developed by Tlön Industries and published by Raw Fury, is a slow and easy introduction to detailed simulations for space lovers. While gazing at the surface of Mars, players can make choices that will affect the future of humanity, while immersing themselves in the complex world of base-building simulators through the accompanying story and soundtrack. As players follow more directions, the game becomes more addictive and gives budding Mars colonists the opportunity to explore how terraforming and colonizing Mars can actually be accomplished.
In Per Aspera, players experience the terraforming and colonization of Mars under the control of AMI, an artificial intelligence that follows directives from Earth, but to some extent can make its own decisions. This makes the AMI ask itself many philosophical questions: does the AMI have free will? Is she human? Is she just a part of colonization or something more and more separate from it? Combined with detailed mechanics, Per Aspera represents a unique anticipation for sci-fi simulators.
